The Board of Directors meets on November 5, 2026 to approve the Q2/H1 FY27 unaudited financial results for the period ended September 30, 2026. The trading window remains closed until 48 hours after the results release.
The analyst call is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 PM IST on November 5, 2026, the same day as the board meeting.
The quarter enters with momentum on the company's side: Q1 FY27 revenue from operations grew 26.0% YoY against management's guidance for growth 'to sustain at a similar pace' to FY26's 20.9%, with 91,082 surgeries (+15.5%) and the North region up 50.4%. The demand backdrop looks supportive, with health insurance premiums up 18% YoY in August 2026 and retail health premiums up 32.5%, feeding the insurance/TPA channel that carries 28.2% of the payor mix.
The key tension is the margin bridge: management has guided EBITDA margins 'to stay stable' against a 28.9% FY26 and 28.5% Q1 FY27 base, while the ~Rs. 20 Cr greenfield drag from 23 facilities launched in six months persists and doctor and employee costs already sit at 33.4% of revenue amid sector-wide clinical staffing tightness.
The merger of AEHL into AHCL, effective November 1, 2026 with an appointed date of April 1, 2026 and a 23:2 swap ratio, adds a presentation question management has not guided on, including any merger one-offs (AEHL booked Rs. 80 lakhs of merger costs in FY26). The call should also cover whether the refractive bounce-back guided for FY27 is materialising and whether the deferred Ethiopia capex estimate and FY27 new-market facility split are finally quantified.
FY27 guidance scorecard: Management's FY27 framework remains intact on external evidence; the call is the checkpoint on each item.

Cumulative greenfield and emerging-center losses stood at Rs. 28.5 Cr as of Q3 FY26, with FY26-vintage branches losing ~Rs. 30 Cr at unit level and the Q1 FY27 drag at ~Rs. 20 Cr across 23 facilities launched in six months. Management has guided that per-branch losses will begin decreasing from FY27 onwards, and FY24/FY25 vintages have already turned profitable.
In H1 FY26, the Telangana top line grew ~42% YoY and EBITDA grew ~44% YoY, driven by same-store sales growth and 4 new facilities. Management attributed the outperformance to both SSSG and the new additions.
Management has guided to ~12 months blended breakeven per facility, with 6-7 months in core markets (Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra) and 15-18 months in newer regions. Greenfield secondary facilities are guided to reach ~20-22% margins by end of year 3 and 30-32% by year 5.
The FY27 plan targets 60 new facilities (40 surgical, 20 clinics) with capex of Rs. 380-400 Cr. Q1 FY27 delivered 18 additions including a record 16 surgical commissions, the first checkpoint against the annual target.
