Arvind Limited is a textiles and advanced-materials maker whose Q2 FY27 print will test how well it absorbs a sharp cotton, yarn and petrochemical-linked input-cost shock that management has guided at 1-1.5% of EBITDA in H1 FY27. The quarter's most material items are the margin trajectory against Q1's 10.3% EBITDA margin, and the ramp of the newly acquired Dalco-GFT business alongside the ₹500 Cr QIP-funded deleveraging from net debt of ₹2,158 Cr.

The Board of Arvind Limited will meet on October 28, 2026 to approve the standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026 (Q2/H1 FY27), per board-meeting intimation Ref. AL/SECT/2026-27/75.
The Q2 FY27 print is set up as the pressure quarter of the year: management explicitly guided that Q2 would face more margin pressure than Q4 FY26's 12.8% EBITDA margin, within an H1 FY27 impact of 1-1.5% of EBITDA from roughly Rs. 100 Cr of cotton and yarn inflation. The cost backdrop corroborates that setup — cotton yarn ran at about Rs. 400/kg, up roughly 60% from Rs. 250/kg in early 2026, while the Indian crude basket averaged $116.09/bbl in September versus $69.61 a year earlier, keeping petrochemical-linked chemical costs elevated. On the demand side, management entered the quarter calling the order book "extremely healthy" with a strong inquiry pipeline, and September's India RMG exports rose 22.9% YoY in rupee terms to Rs. 10,824.6 Cr, though US holiday orders for Indian garment exporters were down 25-30%. Growth is being carried by Advanced Materials, which grew 40.2% in Q1 against FY27 guidance of 18-21%, and by Dalco-GFT, which added Rs. 157 Cr of revenue in its first 1.8 months against a guided $100-110 Mn peak revenue in FY27. A key clarification the call should provide is the tariff number: the company had carried a Rs. 20-25 Cr per quarter EBITDA placeholder, while current evidence points to a 10% US tariff regime since July 24, 2026. The H2 margin recovery remains conditioned on "easing of geopolitical tensions", a condition that was not met during the quarter as Middle East disruptions escalated through late October.
Q2 margin bridge vs the guided H1 pressure: Management guided Q2 FY27 to face more margin pressure than Q4 FY26.

Performance vs Guidance Tracking
Management guided H1 FY27 margin pressure of 1-1.5% of EBITDA from roughly Rs. 100 Cr of input-cost inflation in cotton and yarn, plus petrochemical-linked chemical costs, and explicitly said Q2 would face more pressure than Q4 FY26. Q1 FY27's consolidated EBITDA margin was already 10.3%, down 250bps QoQ from Q4 FY26's 12.8%.
Advanced Materials India grew 40.2% YoY in Q1 FY27 to Rs. 493 Cr revenue with a 14.9% EBITDA margin, against FY27 guidance of 18-21% growth at 15-16% margin. With Dalco-GFT (Rs. 157 Cr revenue in 1.8 months at a 15.1% margin), the AMB total grew 85% YoY to Rs. 650 Cr at a 15.0% margin.
Arvind acquired a 61% stake in US technical-textiles firm Dalco-GFT at an EV of about US$136 Mn, consolidated from May 6, 2026, unlocking a ~US$2.5 bn US TAM. Dalco's 3-month run-rate is revenue of Rs. 244.0 Cr and EBITDA of Rs. 39.8 Cr (16.3%), with peak revenue guided at $100-110 Mn in FY27.
Net debt jumped to Rs. 2,158 Cr at June 30, 2026 from Rs. 1,172 Cr at March 2026, driven primarily by Dalco acquisition debt of about US$110 Mn. Arvind completed a Rs. 500 Cr QIP at Rs. 505/share for debt reduction, and management expects the US entity servicing its own debt to return India business debt "close to pre-acquisition levels" over 1-2 years.
FY27 capex is guided at Rs. 450-500 Cr funded from internal accruals and free cash flow, plus about Rs. 50 Cr of Dalco capex over and above. The Q1 FY27 slide reaffirmed the plan as "on track", after FY26 growth capex of about Rs. 486 Cr.
