Dixon Technologies is India's largest electronics manufacturing services (EMS) player, making smartphones and other electronics for global brands. The Q2 print will speak to whether its guided mobile volume ramp of 9-9.2m phones held up against a domestic smartphone market that fell 26% YoY, and whether the thin 3.03% EBITDA margin from Q1 FY27 came under further pressure from memory-chip cost inflation.

Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd is scheduled to announce its Q2 FY 2026-2027 results on October 30, 2026.
The quarter is a test of share gains in a sharply contracting market: India smartphone shipments fell 26% YoY to roughly 35.6-35.8m units in Q3 CY2026, yet management guided Q2 mobile volumes of 9-9.2m phones with 20-25% QoQ growth on a 'much better order book', within ~32m phones for FY27. On the production side, IIP-electronics grew 19.3% YoY in Aug 2026 with Apr-Aug FY27 cumulative growth at 13.6%, and electronics exports rose 39.4% YoY to $26.66bn in Apr-Aug FY27, supporting the volume path. Margins are the pressure point: Q1 FY27's standard EBITDA margin was 3.03%, compressed 78bps YoY, and management said margin pressure would continue in the current year, attributing it to the expiry of Mobile PLI 1 and higher input costs, with the memory-chip price spike that raised handset prices up to 40% a further cost-side headwind and little buffer from inventories at roughly 29 derived days. Offsets are not yet landing in the P&L: the 9 Jul 2026 basic customs duty waiver on display, lithium-ion cell and inductor-coil inputs and the Rs. 62,500-crore PLI 2.0 Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme are structural tailwinds, but management expected PLI-linked export volumes to build only 'in a couple of quarters', with the Vivo JV contributing from Q3 FY27 and display mass production around end-Q3/beginning-Q4. The key cash-conversion overhang entering the quarter is the Rs. 1,110.06 Cr PLI receivable outstanding pending formal determination, flagged in the Q1 FY27 record, against a still-standing 10% US tariff and potential semiconductor-tariff escalation.

Q1 FY27 revenue grew 21.13% YoY to Rs. 15,547.66 Cr, even as India smartphone shipments fell 26% YoY in Q3 CY2026. Management guided Q2 mobile volumes of 9-9.2m phones with 20-25% QoQ growth, citing a 'much better order book'.
Management has guided to roughly 32m mobile phones for FY27, with Q2 FY27 at 9-9.2m units and 20-25% QoQ growth. The Vivo JV is expected to contribute revenue from Q3 FY27.
