GMR Airports operates Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa-Mopa and the newly commissioned Bhogapuram airports, and this quarter tests whether yield-led revenue growth can keep offsetting a traffic line running well below guidance. The print will speak to the Hyderabad CP-4 tariff flow-through and Bhogapuram's first full quarter of operations, set against West Asia-driven traffic declines at Hyderabad and Mopa.

The board will meet on October 28, 2026, to consider the Q2 and H1 FY 2026-2027 financial results. The trading window has been closed from September 30, 2026, until 48 hours after the results are announced.
The Q2 print tests whether yield-led revenue growth can keep offsetting a volume line running well below guidance — H1 FY27 traffic was a record 58,212,317 passengers but up just 0.5%, against the FY27 guidance of 5–7% growth. Hyderabad remains the soft spot, with traffic down 11.5% in August and 12.7% in September amid West Asian geopolitical disruption, and management itself calling it 'the soft part of our portfolio' with H1 margins guided softer and range-bound. Offsetting levers include the Hyderabad CP-4 tariff order effective September 1, 2026, non-aero IPP rising 8% QoQ to Rs. 691 per passenger, a guided depreciation step-down of about Rs. 35–38 crores per quarter, and NCBs refinanced at 9.56% versus 10.75%. Bhogapuram's first full quarter of operations after commercial operations began on August 17, 2026, and the timing of the AGM-approved Rs. 5,000 crore QIP/FCCB raise, will also feature on the call.
Performance vs guidance tracking: Management's FY27 guidance set faces its second straight test against soft traffic prints.
Bhogapuram ramp-up and tariff order flow-through: Two new levers — a commissioned airport and fresh tariff orders — hit the P&L for the first time.
Operating metric trajectory: Delhi strength is offsetting declines at Hyderabad and Mopa.
Risks and headwinds to monitor: External and governance items management has flagged or disclosed.
Funding execution and Hyderabad H2 recovery: Balance-sheet and narrative items that could shift the story beyond capex completion.
Management said the flat EBITDA was 'more or less purely on aero income', with non-aero income compensating for the loss of aero revenue. Hyderabad EBITDA was Rs. 3,902 mn in Q1FY27, essentially unchanged YoY.
Standalone gross debt stood at Rs. 7,400 crores with net debt of Rs. 6,400–6,500 crores and covenant headroom of only Rs. 200 crores. Average cost of debt is 11–11.5%, and management targets below 10% within 12 months via a Rs. 1,500 crores refinancing.
H1 FY27 traffic grew just 0.5% to a record 58,212,317 passengers against the FY27 guidance of 5–7% growth. Hyderabad fell 11.5% in August and 12.7% in September, with Mopa down 26.9% in September.
Management has said it expects no passenger cannibalization from Noida Airport. Delhi traffic grew 6.9% YoY in Q1FY27 to 20.4 mn passengers.
