JBM Auto makes automotive components and is India's largest e-bus manufacturer, and the quarter in question covers a period when e-bus registrations accelerated sharply while PV demand ran hot. The print will speak to whether the EV segment rebounds sequentially from Q1's 44.62% QoQ revenue drop, and how margins and finance costs behave on a leveraged balance sheet ahead of the approved Rs. 1,500 Cr fund-raise.

The Board of JBM Auto Ltd will meet on Monday, 26 October 2026, to approve the un-audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q2 and the half-year ended 30 September 2026. The trading window for designated persons has been closed from 1 October 2026 until 48 hours after the results are made public, per the Insider Trading Code.
The quarter's central question is whether the EV segment rebounds from Q1 FY27's sequential drop — EV revenue fell 44.62% QoQ to Rs. 460.04 Cr against an exceptionally strong Q4 FY26 base of Rs. 830.64 Cr — with September's 274 e-bus registrations at a 33% market share suggesting the line was rebuilding through the quarter. On the components side, SIAM data shows passenger vehicle sales of 1.36 million units in Q2 FY27, up 30.7% YoY, a supportive build backdrop for the Components division that contributed 61.99% of Q1 revenue. The margin picture is mixed: battery-grade lithium carbonate fell to around Yuan 107,000/t by 14 October 2026 (down 36.08% on the futures contract since 1 September), but the decline concentrated late in the quarter so pass-through into Q2 pack costs will lag, while G-sec yields hardened through September on a book with Debt/Equity of 1.98 and FY26 finance costs already up 28.87% YoY to Rs. 318.24 Cr. The EPR obligation under the End-of-Life Vehicles Rules, 2025 remained unprovisioned entering Q2, with the company stating it is unable to make a reliable estimate of the financial impact. The upcoming call is also expected to cover the shareholder-approved Rs. 1,500 Cr securities issue and the first results consolidating the new Ecolife subsidiaries, Greenpath Mobility and Nextgen Green Mobility.
