Juniper Green Energy is a renewable power developer building solar, wind, hybrid and battery storage (FDRE/BESS) projects, and Q2 FY 2026-2027 is only its second quarter since the Rs. 1,800 crore IPO in August 2026. The print will speak to whether commissioning stays on the guided 250-300 MW track for the quarter and how finance costs on a largely variable-rate debt book flow through to PAT after a record Q1.

Juniper Green Energy Ltd is scheduled to announce its Q2 FY 2026-2027 results on October 30, 2026.
The quarter is a test of execution: management guided 250-300 MW of commissioning for Q2 on the August 27, 2026 call, and roughly 167 MW of wind was already commissioned effective July 1, 2026, leaving a modest incremental bar against the ~2 GW full-year FY27 target. Revenue is units generated times fixed long-term PPA tariffs (portfolio weighted average Rs. 3.70/kWh), and the company entered Q2 with a Q1 exit run-rate of 944 million units generated, up 72% YoY, with 98% of contracted capacity held by off-takers rated A and above. The sharper swing factor between EBITDA and PAT is finance cost: 95.39% of borrowings are variable-rate, finance costs rose 121.9% YoY in Q1, and the 10-year G-Sec yield hardened from 6.84% end-July to 7.05% by September 21, 2026, with the RBI hiking the repo rate 25 bps to 5.50% after the quarter closed. Rising Indian module prices and a widening DCR premium (DCR modules considered at around Rs. 17/Wp for the SECI thermal-mimic order vs Rs. 12.1-12.2/Wp non-DCR) are a capex-economics headwind to the ~2 GW FY27 commissioning and ~Rs. 22,000 crore capex math rather than a Q2 P&L item. The upcoming call is also expected to address the transmission-delay question raised by HSBC in Q1 that went unanswered, alongside post-quarter events including the parent's ICRA upgrade to AA- (Stable) on September 16, 2026.
Commissioning vs the 250-300 MW Q2 target: Q2 additions against the target set on the August 27, 2026 call, and cumulative progress vs ~2 GW for FY27.
Run-rate EBITDA trajectory: Tracking against the FY27 and current-fleet run-rate guides from the Q1 call.
BESS execution and LOA-to-PPA conversion: Battery installation milestones and conversion of the awarded pipeline into signed PPAs.
Capex, one-offs and curtailment: Spending trajectory, one-time cost checks and merchant-plant updates.
Risks and headwinds to monitor: Management-flagged and analyst-raised risks for the quarter.
Management has guided run-rate EBITDA of Rs. 2,700-2,750 crores on ~4 GW of commissioned capacity by FY27. For FY28, it guided close to Rs. 4,500 crores on close to 6 GW.
Yes — Q1 FY27 Total Income rose 79% YoY to Rs. 324 Cr, a record first quarter as a listed company. Generation of 944 million units in Q1 was up 72% YoY, supported by a record 601 MWp commissioned in the quarter.
Management stated that connectivity, land and financing are 'largely secured' for the ~2 GW FY27 commissioning target. The main open question is transmission delays, raised by an analyst in Q1, on which a full response was not captured.
Management did not give a direct yes/no commitment on the Q1 call. Its commentary covered tender flexibility around a 12-hour peak requirement, shifting DISCOM behaviour, and improving traction for peak power tenders.
