KPIT Technologies is a global mobility technology company specializing in automotive software and embedded solutions for software-defined vehicles, connected cars, autonomous driving and new-energy powertrains. This quarter tests management's flattish-revenue guide for Q2 FY27 as the Europe spend-cut impact lands more heavily at a regional level, alongside the promised recovery in EBITDA margin from 17.2% in Q1 toward the 20.5%-21.2% FY27 band.

The Board of Directors will meet on October 28, 2026 to approve the un-audited financial results and limited review for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. The trading window has been closed from October 1, 2026 until 48 hours after the results declaration.
A post-earnings call is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 17:30 IST, hosted by Dolat Capital Market. Speakers include Kishor Patil (CEO & MD), Sachin Tikekar (President & Jt. MD), Anup Sable (COO), Chinmay Pandit (Head Americas) and Priyamvada Hardikar (CFO).
The most recent dividend action is already completed: a final dividend of Rs. 5.25 per share for FY 2025-26 was declared at the AGM on August 31, 2026, with the record date set as August 12, 2026. The October 28, 2026 board meeting intimation carries no fresh dividend agenda.
The quarter is set up as a direct test of management's flattish-QoQ revenue guide for Q2 FY27, with the Europe revenue impact landing more heavily this quarter at a regional level after about 4% in Q1, offset by US and SIMA growth. On margins, the FY27 EBITDA band of 20.5%-21.2% stands against the 17.2% printed in Q1, with USD/INR at roughly 94.7-95.0 versus the 88.16 hedge rate acting as a translation tailwind, while EUR/INR eased through September-October on KPIT's largest currency bucket at 39.5% of billings. Cost timing also helps: the company has deferred and staged its annual wage hike for the first time, lowering the Q2 people-cost step-up, though the industry backdrop stays soft with NASSCOM's pure-play ER&D revenues down 0.1% QoQ in the June quarter. Management has committed to a significant QoQ growth turnaround in Q4 FY27 driven by Products and Solutions, and reaffirmed the 22%-24% margin aspiration by FY '29 on the July 29, 2026 call. The upcoming call is expected to cover the margin bridge off 17.2%, the quantified Europe impact, CV growth resumption guided for Q2, and the Qorix share-of-loss trajectory guided to continue for one to two more quarters.

Asked on the Q1 FY27 call whether the 22%-24% by FY '29 aspiration can still hold, CEO Kishor Patil said the medium-term outlook remains good, citing product and solutions revenue expected to grow exponentially. The aspiration was explicitly reaffirmed on the July 29, 2026 call.
Management attributed the quarter's commercial-vehicle weakness to a timing issue with deal realization rather than a permanent drop. It expects CV growth to resume in the next quarter, i.e., Q2 FY27.
Kishor Patil acknowledged the revenue drop has been pretty strong in the two affected accounts but said KPIT did not drop revenues as much because of wins in other markets. He described conversion as slow for sure, but not perpetually waiting, and noted European wins when materialized would involve more work from India.
The FY27 EBITDA margin guidance is 20.5%-21.2%, but Q1 FY27 ran at 17.2% versus 20.6%-21.1% in the prior three quarters. Management has guided margins to improve successively every quarter, potentially exceeding 20% by Q4 FY27, contingent on revenue growth.
