Onesource Specialty Pharma is a pharma CDMO spanning drug-device combinations, biologics, sterile injectables and softgels, riding the global semaglutide commercialisation wave where supply, not demand, is the binding constraint. The Q2 print will speak to whether the second cartridge line went live on schedule to double sterile production days, and how the planned injectables site shutdown spanning Q2-Q3 FY27 weighs on margins against the DDC mix benefit.

The Board will meet on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, to approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The trading window for designated persons closed from October 1, 2026, and reopens 48 hours after results dissemination.
The earnings call is scheduled for October 27, 2026, at 18:30 hrs IST, and will be hosted by CEO & MD Neeraj Sharma and CFO Anurag Bhagania.
The quarter's central test is execution of capacity: the second cartridge line was slated for commercialization in Q2FY27, doubling sterile production days from ~225 to ~450, and confirmation falls to this print. Demand signals stayed supportive through the window — injectable semaglutide volumes in India rose from 63,000 units in March to 273,000 units in September, with generics at ~230,000 units or 84% of September volumes, and Health Canada approved Aspen's generic semaglutide on July 20, 2026, widening the client base management said would see 'more approvals... over the next few quarters'. On margins, two forces pull in opposite directions: the DDC mix benefit that drove the +600bps QoQ expansion to 27.5% in Q1FY27 should build with 'limited incremental opex' on new lines, while the company-flagged sterile injectables site shutdown spanning Q2-Q3 FY27 removes contribution in a business where operating leverage cuts both ways — the Q3FY26 episode saw a ~US$10 Mn QoQ revenue shortfall flow through to a similar EBITDA decline. The rupee's move from the Q1 translation rate of Rs. 94.507 to ~95.7-96.0 through September is a translation tailwind for the USD-guiding model, and the tariff regime as disclosed is neutral-to-mildly supportive since generic pharmaceuticals are carved out of Section 232 tariffs. Management reaffirmed the FY28 guidance of US$400 Mn organic revenue at a ~40% steady-state EBITDA margin on July 24, 2026, and has declined to give FY27 numeric guidance, so the call will focus on capacity milestones, the promised Steriscience margin-improvement update, and deleveraging progress.

Management said on the Q1FY27 call (July 25, 2026) that an update would be shared 'over the next quarter or so', making it a natural item for the Q2FY27 call. The Steriscience/Brooks scheme of arrangement itself was dropped by Board decision on May 13, 2026, with a re-look flagged 'in about two years from now'.
Management has stated, 'We haven't guided for this year right from the beginning', and has declined FY27 financial colour despite analyst requests. It reiterated the FY28 guidance of US$400 Mn organic revenue and said the gap between the FY28 outlook and a yearly outlook will close 'starting next year'.
The CEO said on the Q4FY26 call that 'more approvals which will be coming in over the next few quarters'. Health Canada approved Aspen's generic semaglutide on July 20, 2026, though launch timing depends on Dr. Reddy's semaglutide API supply, which is disrupted until at least late October.
Q1FY27 revenue was Rs. 4,490 Mn, up 37% YoY and 5% QoQ, with EBITDA of Rs. 1,233 Mn at a 27.5% margin (+600bps QoQ). Reported PAT was Rs. 250 Mn versus a Rs. 2 Mn loss in Q1FY26, and adjusted PAT rose 72% YoY to Rs. 637 Mn, driven by the semaglutide commercial launch in Canada and India.
