The fee engine remains intact with revenue up 8.91% YoY and H1 operating profit up 10.62% YoY on an unlevered balance sheet, but the quarter deteriorated on every secondary axis: PAT fell 5.99% YoY (−1.92% normalized), operating margin compressed ~313 bps, and cost-to-income rose to 25.25% against management's prior commitment to improve it. The PAT-revenue disconnect is explained by a treasury-income swing (other income −57.25% YoY) and last year's Rs.30.98 Cr one-time tax reversal, but the margin compression is fresh and only partially excused by the guided training-cost flow-through. No numeric FY guidance was given, so no guidance beat or miss can be established.
