Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd is a power EPC company transitioning into an integrated infrastructure platform spanning transmission, smart metering, data centres and TBCB transmission assets. This quarter's print will speak to whether standalone EBITDA margin holds within the guided 13-14% band amid elevated transformer and CRGO steel costs, and whether the Eshanagar transmission asset monetisation to IndiGrid closes in Q2 FY27.

The Board of Directors meets on November 12, 2026 to approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026 (Q2/H1 FY27). The trading window has been closed since September 25, 2026 and re-opens 48 hours after the results.
A final dividend of Rs. 7 per share, aggregating Rs. 81 crore, was approved at the September 23, 2026 AGM with a record date of September 11, 2026. This relates to FY26 and is separate from the upcoming Q2 FY27 results.
The quarter's key test is margin: standalone EBITDA margin was 13.88% in Q1 FY27, already at the lower end of the guided 13-14% band, and the input complex moved further against the company through Q2 with domestic HRC at four-year highs (Rs. 63,900/t for the week ended September 18) and the Gulf conflict unresolved, with Brent above $100/bbl through September and Gulf oil supplies not expected to fully recover until 2027.
The DGTR anti-dumping probe into CRGO imports initiated June 22, 2026 remains the live swing factor for the transformer-grade steel that management blamed for Q1's 150 bps standalone margin compression. On the demand side, the order engine is running ahead of plan: Rs. 2,196 Cr of FY27 intake won year-to-date against the Rs. 4,000 Cr target that management said is 'likely to be exceeded', with the unexecuted order book at Rs. 11,000 Cr as of the August 2026 call, or about 2.75x the FY27 revenue target.
Execution milestones to track include smart meter installation at 77% at Q1 against 100% completion by end FY27, the Eshanagar asset monetisation to IndiGrid planned for Q2 FY27, and Noida data centre commissioning guided for Q4 FY27. The call is also where investors will look for the data centre P&L disclosure management promised from H2 FY27 and progress on the roughly 150 MW of IT load under active discussion.

Management revised the FY27 data centre revenue target down to Rs. 40-50 crores from about Rs. 125 crores guided earlier at Q2 FY26. An analyst also referenced a prior Rs. 100 Cr FY27 target on the Q4 FY26 call.
Management said it is not reporting quarterly data centre revenue or bottom line yet because it is not very significant today. Segment disclosure is promised from H2 FY27.
The FY27 order intake target is Rs. 4,000 Cr, which management said is 'likely to be exceeded'. Rs. 2,196 Cr was won year-to-date as of the August 2026 presentation, with about Rs. 2,100 Cr at L1 position.
Management stated that revenue from the order book takes two to three years to realise, including 6-9 months of land-parcel handover delay. The current executable order book is 'more than sufficient for next two years'.
